Terrified

I was now sprinting through the forest at terrific speed but I knew better than to think I was safe. “What should we do?” I screamed at my friend. “Get the rope from your backpack and climb up the tree!”. “I don’t have it- I must have  dropped it!”. “But where did it go, what will we do?”. The sweat dripping down from her forehead nearly hid the desperate look on her face. Nearly. “We only have one choice- just keep running….”

The Sandcastle

Anna and I were adding the finishing touches to our gigantic sandcastle. “Finally its done” we both proudly said together.  We eventually decided we had enough of playing in the sand for the day.  We quickly jumped into our wet suits and splashed into the sea.  A half an hour later I glanced up in the direction of our sandcastle and screamed “aaahhh”.  Anna didn’t know what I was screaming about until she noticed “our precious sandcastle is gone”.  “Aaahh but where did it go”? she shouted.  I quickly realised that the tide came in and washed it away.  I told Anna and we both stopped panicking!

Where Did It Go?

One morning me, my sister, and my dad decided to go for swim at the beach. We got there half an hour later and as I looked out the car window, I could see the water and was so excited to get in. We put on our swimming togs, goggles and swimming hats and jumped in. Then we had a splash fight and swam out a bit further until I spotted something at first, I thought it was a dolphin but as we swam up to it, we figured it was a shark! I swam away quickly but calmly so I didn’t attract its attention “but where did it go?” I shouted, we swam away cautiously and there was still no sign of the shark.

Thankfully we were safe as it had swam away this time!!

Missing Brother

I stepped into the school bus a shiver creeping down my spine. I must look hideous from all the crying and I definitely look traumatised. I could sense everyone was looking back at me when I past them. I sat down beside my best friend Lilly she knew there was something wrong. I told her that I was down at the stream with my little brother Rory he was in the water when a gust of wind came. When the wind was gone I looked over to where Rory was and he was missing.”It’s all my fault he’s gone”. “But where did he go?”she said

‘The Bracelet’

Anna and her friend Suzy were walking to school one day. ‘It’s beautiful, isn’t it,’ Anna was telling Suzy about the pretty bracelet her sister had gotten for her birthday. ‘I can’t believe u took it Anna but I guess it is really pretty,’ Suzy agreed. A while later they got to the woods they would walk through every day to get to school. Suddenly a Magpie caught sight of the glittering bracelet and swooped down and grabbed it off Anna’s thin wrist. Anna fell back in fright. ‘Quick catch it!!’ Cried Anna, struggling to get up. Suzy ran after it but……. ‘It disappeared? yelled Suzy back to her friend. Anna looked puzzled. ‘It… it disappeared?? But where did it go?’ She shouted back. The two girls saw a light right where the magpie had disappeared. So they stepped in……..

The Kidnapper

It was a glorious summers evening, the sun was beating down on the back of my neck as I walked to the beach with my little sister. We came alone because our Mam is WAY over protective and our middle sister is so annoying. We laid our towels on the soft sand Chloe was making a sand castle beside me. She looked up at me “can we get some ice cream please”. I hesitated “ok”I said as I reached for the twenty euro note in my bag. “no I want to go on my own” “ ok but be careful”. I stood up and watched her walk away. Suddenly I felt a hand creep over my shoulder. Everything went black…I woke up in a room that looked like a basement I saw Chloe sitting beside Me I opened my mouth to say something but the door bust open, your coming with me Lauren and your sisters life depends on what you do.he put a sack over me and put me in a car. We stopped he took of the sack and told me to steal one of the paintings from the gallery. He smashed the window and I crawled in I spotted a painting I ran over to it and picked it up but it was heavier than I expected. What was I going to do if I can’t lift it…….

WHAT ARE WE TO DO

‘Loads of people already know where it is!!’ wailed Freya ‘yeah it’s not a secret anymore’ replied Pete. ‘What are we going to do’ I uttered. ‘I say we move the shed further into the woods and hide it behind one of the oak trees’ Leah suggested. ‘It’s are best chance’ said Freya backing Leah up. So we all tried pushing our secret hide out shed further into the woods but it was heavier than I expected actually  way heavier than I expected. ‘There’s no way we can push this, its far to heavy’ said Pete looking tired. ‘What are we to do’ I said ‘I’ve got it! We can ask Tom if we can borrow his tractor and loader to push it’, and that’s what we ended up doing, now are secret den is still a secret.

The Lucky Escape

‘I’ll be in so much trouble if I get caught,’ I said lethargically, trying to catch my breath. I could hear the bird singing, dawn was approaching! I had to be quick. I could feel my heart thumping as I arrived at the front door. I nervously pulled the key from my pocket and without hesitation, I opened the door. I crept silently across the dark hallway and up the stairs. I darted straight to the bedroom. Perched on a high shelf, there it was, the book I had been looking for. I frantically ran over and grabbed the book. It was much heavier than I expected, and I could barely lift it. Suddenly I heard voices downstairs. I threw the heavy book on the ground and ran.
