It was as quiet as the night, even though it was the middle of the day, my dog Charlie and I were in the woods. When, just then Charlie’s ears turned.. he heard something. We went further and further in until I couldn’t see the day light any more.. I didn’t know what was going on until I heard the leaves crackling behind me, at first I thought I was dreaming but then I realised that Charlie heard it too! As we got deeper into the forest Charlie stopped and I looked around and suddenly noticed a shadowy black figure run from one tree to another I was so confused and that’s when I realised we were been watched…
But by who?…

Oh Cara, that sounds creepy! I hope that Charlie is a good guard dog and is able to chase the ‘watcher’ away.
Good use of the word, confused! I can imagine that other adjectives, such as scared, frightened and curious, could apply too.
