It was a poor village  a poverty stricken place  with the houses crumbling down, but everyone felt safe there. It was like there was a friendly mood in the air. Until one day.It started with a teenage girl that went missing then a man  And then  a little boy had gone missing without a trace! His poor mother was running around frantically looking for him suddenly she herd him screaming ‘help help ‘she ran as fast as the wind and followed the screams into a dark alley way.she felt a cold hand grab her in to a house as he screamed and tried to escap but couldn’t.

I wandering the streets of Brazil alone. I had lost my tour guide 3 hours ago. I was trying to find my way back to árvores de acampamento. Where I had been staying for the last 3 days. I told myself whatever happened I would stay calm. Suddenly I lost my cool I could see a big man coming towards with 2 huge alsations. I ran! I came to this narrow run down street where everyone looked at me like I had 3 heads, probably because I was wearing a very touristy t-shirt. I don’t know how I got here or how I will get back.

Hi I’m Veronica and I was bored one day and I decided to go exploring.

On a Saturday night, I went exploring. I saw an alley way and I decided to go down there , I was kinda creeped because there was a creepy house and it’s door was open. I didn’t see anyone in there. I decided to be brave enough to in there but then I chickened out. I saw somebody come up the alley way and I got so scared I ran like lighting and he caught me.

Then I realised that It was just a dream.

I walked into the kitchen intending to steal a snack before dinner. I saw Ma clutching her left hand ,the flat iron on the table beside her. It took me a moment to realise what had happened to her. Then I realised that she had burnt her hand. I ran over to the sink and wet the pile of rags in case something like this happened. I gave her the rags and she put the on her hand. I saw the burn and it looked quite bad that meant I was in charge  of all 11 of my siblings until her hand healed and it didn’t look it would be better any time soon. Ma sat down and made herself comfortable I knew she would enjoy bossing me around.

One day Liz was walking down the street and she got hit by an iron falling from a window. The iron was all rusty and filthy. She took it home to wash it and give it to her grandmother. Her grandmother always wanted one but she never had enough of money. Liz decided to go and wash it,but when she put it in water it got more rusty. Then Liz decided to get her magic spray to get the rust of. Finally the rust was gone. She let it dry. Then she Googled how to use it, it said to put it over a fire for one hour and then use it. She then gave it to her grandmother, she tried it and it worked.

Brynn was on the way to her new cleaning job, she met the owner of the house Agnes who welcomed her in. Her five kids Pa, Mary Jane, Johnny, Josephine and Florence were all outside playing games. Agnes brought her to the kitchen where she handed her a flat iron and a big pile of clothes. All the clothes looked very old fashioned, she didn’t know what to think of them. After she went to the sitting room where the girls came in to read books, while Agnes shouted out the window at Pa to get the donkey ready for the ploughing! What a peculiar home,  she thought.

Another day another slay at the workhorse today we had to wake up at 4 oclock witch is pretty early and had some disgusting chunky soup we started of with some boring sweeping following on with some ironing I was starving since I didn’t have and breakfast so I asked one of the solders for some actually decent food but he said no!how rude so I hit him with the hot flat iron!

As Nicole woke due to baby Sammy’s crying, she thought to herself it’s like no other morning at the Harold’s household. She jumped out of bed, quickly put on her clothes and started her chores. When she had just picked up the flat iron she was shocked to hear Davis running down the stairs with baby Sammy. As Davis was just learning to walk, he tripped and flung baby Sammy into the air. Without thinking Nicole grabbed baby Sammy but didn’t realize that the flat iron had burned baby Sammy’s head! Before she knew it she was standing outside the Harold’s house all alone and  nowhere to go…

I was home alone left to do the chores. Me ma had gone tothe backery to  get some cream buns for the post man as she had a fancy for him. The flat iron was done heating so I took some  leather gloves so I wouldn’t burn myself from it.I started of with me ma’s  peticoat and  suddenly I heard a sound from the back door it looks like nobody’s home said a strange voice then a burly Man came. In oh no Harry  there is a little las in here I was so scared so I just hit the man with the boiling hot iron! Oh no what have I done is he dead?
