I was walking, I wouldn’t stop I had to get away. I am sick of the way they treet me. All of a sudden I could see light it was coming from a door a secret door! It was locked but I knew I had a key in my pocket and I always wondered what it led to! So I ruffled around for a bit until I pulled an old bronze key out and slid it into the keyhole …if only it was a bit smaller…

Hi Shona,
A nice take on the prompt; hope you were able to find a way in!
Keep on writing, Shona.
Hi Shóna
This is an excellent 100 word challenge! I love your opening lines which really drew me in and I felt I had to read on to find out what happened. When you suddenly see a secret door I have my fingers crossed that you’ll get through it but then you convey so much disappointment in the way you used this week’s prompt so creatively. It is also a very clever cliffhanger and I’m left wondering did you find another way to get away? Well done. Great writing for the 100 word challenge.
