I was filled with mixed emotions while queuing for the hot air balloon ride. I went from been very excited to very nervous! It was an enormous rainbow coloured hot air balloon with a beautiful brown basket. Meanwhile as I was chatting to my friend Anne, time passed swiftly by and it was our turn next. We hopped into the basket. Within minutes the basket kicked off the ground and lifted into the air. The noise and the odd shake of the basket was so frightening at times. It was fabulous gliding along in the air to see the whole countryside stretched out before us. I had never seen anything like it before.
